What personal data do we collect and why do we collect it


When visitors leave comments on the web, we collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and the browser’s user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymous string created from your email address (also called a hash) can be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The privacy policy of the Gravatar service is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After the approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.


If you upload images to the web you should avoid uploading images with location data (GPS EXIF) included. Web visitors can download and extract any location data from web images.

Reservations through our website

The information provided by interested persons, that is to say, those who at some point by any means of contact have communicated with our establishment, will be used exclusively for a commercial purpose, to send information related to our establishment (news, activities, gifts or promotions) by email.

  • Contractual purpose. We will deal with them personal data of our clients that are necessary for the formalization of the contract for the provision of the tourist accommodation service.

  • the public security regulations (obligation to register in hotel establishments)
  • Commercial purpose. If you have provided your consent, we will provide you with commercial information, proposals, promotions and other information related to our establishment. At no time will your data be offered to third parties or businesses outside of Cal Gabriel and its trademarks.


Who do we share your data with?

Your personal data is not shared with third parties or international organizations.

In compliance with the sectoral regulations, there is a series of data that must be sent to the Public Administration to fulfill the obligations that set us.

How long do we keep your data?

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This is so that we can recognize and approve successive comments automatically instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.

Of the users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their user number). Web administrators can also see and edit that information.

Regarding data with contractual and legal purposes (tax and commercial), the conservation period is 5 years. Those relating to compliance with the citizen security regulations are 4 years. Commercial data is kept for 10 years, unless you have requested its cancellation beforehand.

What rights do you have over your data?

If you have an account or have left comments on this website, you can request to receive an export file of the personal data we have about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete any personal data we have about you. This does not include any data that we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Cal Gabriel does not store your contact data, we only use them to contact you in the case of contact forms, room or restaurant reservations, or inquiries made. Only the data required by law will be stored, and will be deleted once the legislation allows us to do so.

Google Analytics provides us with generic navigation data for statistical use.

What type of automated decision-making and/or profiling do we do with user data

No user profile data.

Regulatory requirements for disclosure of information in the sector

For those staying in our establishment, the police department obliges us to register all the people who are staying. Without this express consent it is not possible to spend the night in Cal Gabriel.
